Actor Kevin Spacey was reportedly pulled over for speeding yesterday – on his way home from court.
The 59-year-old was stopped by police as he left Reagan National Airport in Washington DC.
The House of Cards star was seen talking to officers next to his vehicle. He was reportedly spared a ticket and let off with a verbal warning, sources told TMZ .
The Oscar-winner is believed to have arrived at the airport after flying from Massachusetts, where he appeared in court earlier on Monday .
Spacey was forced to appear in court in person after a judge denied his request to be charged in his absence.
The star, famed for hit movies American Beauty and The Usual Suspects, pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and battery. He faces five years in prison if convicted.
Judge Thomas Barrett set his next court date for March 4 and ordered Spacey, 59, to have no contact with his accuser or his accuser’s family.
He ruled that Spacey did not have to appear for the March hearing.
The actor said nothing, but mouthed “thank you” at the end of his hearing.
It came more than a year after TV anchor Heather Unruh accused him of assaulting her 18-year-old son at a bar in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Police in the US and UK are probing several allegations of sexual assault involving Spacey. He was sacked by Netflix from political drama House of Cards when claims first emerged in 2017.
