Now a jewellery expert has weighed in on how Meghan’s approach to jewels makes her “more youthful” than Kate Middleton.
Jeweller Pippa Small told PEOPLE: “Kate is more traditional, classic and refined, where as I feel Meghan is a little more unexpected and youthful with her choices.”
“And to see how they wear these heritage pieces is wonderful.”
Pippa also pointed to Meghan’s butterfly earrings, which once belonged to Diana.
Meghan wore them on her tour of Australia.
She said: “That was a beautiful symbol and a lovely gesture.”
“She made them look totally contemporary.”
