Claudia Winkleman: Strictly Come Dancing host dazzles in plunging jumpsuit

From express

Claudia Winkleman presented Strictly Come Dancing tonight alongside Tess Daly, 49.

Claudia is known for her daring fashion choices, and tonight was no exception.

The mother-of-three wore a sparkling jumpsuit as she took to the Strictly stage to introduce the show.

The strappy jumpsuit featured a plunging neckline, showing off a hint of cleavage.

The outfit was particularly effective under the dazzling stage lights, causing Claudia to shimmer as she addressed the audience.

The Strictly presenter accessorised the jumpsuit with a red poppy pinned to the left of her chest.

Her hair was in a relaxed style and hung about her shoulders. As ever, Claudia sported her trademark fringe.

She also painted her nails in a fiery red for the Strictly show.

Claudia appeared alongside co-host Tess who wore a strapless red dress, also with a poppy.

Claudia’s sense of fashion has also evolved greatly over the years of her successful career.

During the 1990s she presented a number of game shows including dating show Three’s a Crowd, Talking Telephone Numbers and God’s Gift.

At that time, Claudia appeared on television in bright colours, short red skirts and sexy dresses, a far cry from her more chic look today.

Claudia underwent another style evolution in the early noughties when she landed her first major television role in 2001.

She appeared on the regional discussion programme Central Weekend, before going on to present her first daily TV role on the BBC Three’s Liquid News.

In true 2000s style, Claudia wore a plethora of colours, from turquoise to bright blue to brown.

Claudia then began to develop her signature style, sporting her distinctive fringe and wearing darker colours.

Her bold fringe has divided many; it has its own fan Twitter account but was also once voted the most annoying hairstyle on TV.

Claudia previously told women’s website The Pool: “I find it odd but terrific that people like my fringe. I can’t imagine life with a visible forehead.”

For the last two years, the London-born star was the BBC’s highest-paid female, bringing in a staggering £450,000-£499,999 salary in 2016-2017.

According to, Claudia now has a whopping net worth of around $12 million (£9 million).
